We all come out to the field to have a good time flying our models and conversing with our comrades. Hopefully we leave the field in good spirits with a smile on our faces. It doesn't always happen this way so here are the field rules to help that happen.

FIELD RULES
February 22, 2010

1.Your current AMA card must be placed on the frequency board before flying .
2.Transmitters must not be turned on unless the pilot is in possession of the proper frequency pin ( 2.4                  transmitters do not require a frequency pin.)    
3.No flying over spectator area.
4.No standing on runway while flying .
5.No spectators are allowed on the flight line while flying is active.
6.No inexperienced Pilot will fly without the help of one of the club instructors.
7.A common flight pattern must be used whenever more than one aircraft is flying at the same time. All                 take-off turns must be away from the spectator area. No acrobatics allowed over the runway.
8.Boundaries : All pilots shall fly inside the dirt road that surrounds the flying field and 1000 feet north of                the active  landfill.
9.Only Jets with ducted fan motors are allowed at our field. No jet turbine engines are allowed .
10.      All pilots must make it known in a loud and clear voice  what you intend to do
A.Taking off .
B.Landing/ coming in.
C.Dead stick.
D.On the field.
E.Out of control.

11.No smoking is allowed on the field.
12.No alcoholic beverages are allowed while flying.
13.The gate combination shall not be given to non-members.
14.Last person to leave the field must close and lock the gate.

15.      CROSSWIND RUNWAY
A When making a NORTH EAST takeoff  pilots must make a left turn –towards the NORTH after                           taking off.
B Helicopter pilots cannot fly when SOUTHWEST- NORTHEAST RUNWAY is in use.
CNormal flight pattern will be used while flying.
16.       ALL TRANSMITTERS MUST PLACED IN THE IMPOUND AREA WHEN NOT IN USE.

17       AMA RULES REQUIRE THAT RC AIRFIELDS WITHIN 5 MILE RADIUS LIMIT THE ALTITUDE OF
           RC AIRCRAFT TO 400 FEET.  BE ESPECIALLY AWARE OF YOUR ALTITUDE WHEN FULL SIZE
           AIRCRAFT ARE FLYING OVER OUR FIELD.

After dialing  911 please clearly state your emergency, give the 911 operator your
name and cell phone number, and your location as: old land fill,1100 South Old Kings Road
