FAA reps speak to members about coming restrictions
At the 12th annual AMA EXPO last week in Ontario CA, representatives from the FAA answered members' questions during an open forum the afternoon of January 7. The packed convention center room wasn't large enough to accommodate the overflow of members who are rightly concerned about the federal government's pending regulations regarding model aviation.

Both the House of Representatives and the Senate passed the first FAA Reauthorization legislation in several years, including an amendment aimed at protecting model aviation from what AMA views as burdensome federal regulations. Click here to read more

Cub Scout Pack experiences exhibition and hands-on flying
5/8/2012 On Saturday May 5, 2012 the Flagler Radio Aero Modelers RC Club hosted Cub Scout Pack 411 for a morning of exhibition and hands on flying of radio controlled model aircraft. Cub master Dan Fealgle , his staff and cub parents witnessed each cub scout flying with RAMS instructors directed by Rams president Bob Thierwechter . A Cubby smile and successful flight was rewarded with post flight treats.
Those participating were the following individuals:

Theirwechter and Charlie Mueller, Ray Punsalan and Victor Dumet.
